No Absolute Truths?

Here is another one for the evolutionary crowd. I am wondering if when you are dealing with evolution are you dealing with absolute truths, or do those that work in the science of evolution believe that there are no absolute truths? I ask this question, because I know that the generations that are now coming out of the evolutionary public school system are tending to lean toward the belief that there are no absolute truths. I am interested in knowing how the majority of evolutionary scientists view the subject of absolute or no absolute truths. Thank you for taking the time to entertain me with your thoughts.

Dragons & Dinosaurs

Now it is time to continue giving versus that show that according to the Bible "dinosaurs" or dragons actually exist not in prehistoric times (that is a made up word, all things in the past are history) but in current history. Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. Isaiah 51:9 Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon? Jeremiah 9:11 And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant. Jeremiah 10:22 Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons. Jeremiah 14:6 And the wild asses did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was no grass. Jeremiah 49:33 And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor any son of man dwell in it. Jeremiah 51:34 Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out. Jeremiah 51:37 And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwellingplace for dragons, an astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant. Lamentations 4:3 Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness. Ezekiel 29:3 & 4 Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself. But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales. Ok, that is an end of the verses about dragons for now, but stay tuned, there are more verses that will be added to this list in another post.

Human Cloning & DNA

This time I would like to ask some more questions to those who research DNA and human cloning (or even animal cloning). If I was to take the strand of information from the DNA of one human and put that in book form with the average size print what would be the size of room needed to contain those books? How many times would that strand of DNA go around the earth? It seems that scientists are finding ways to clone living beings, and in a since "create" new live. What does it take to accomplish this cloning? Does this prove evolution to you? If it does how does it prove evolution? Does DNA prove evolution to those that do that kind of research? Who is involved in exploring new ways of finding and "correcting" DNA or gene problems for genetic defects? These are questions that when answered will lend much food for though to those involved in the debate on this blog site. I now await your answers and insight to these questions.

Dinosaur?

Here is a combo deal of questions and answers for evolutionary scientists, and what the Bible has to say about dinosaurs. What does the word "dinosaur" mean exactly? When did that word come into existance? What were large creatures like dinosaurs called before that word existed? Here are some excellent passages from the Bible that deal with those questions from a creation point of view. Nehemiah 2:13 "And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with fire." Job 30:29 "I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls." Job 40:15 "Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox." Job 41:19-21 "Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out. Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron. His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth." Psalm 44:19 "Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death." Psalm 74:13 & 14 "Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness." Psalm 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet." Psalm 104:26 "There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein." Psalm 148:7 "Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:" Isaiah 13:22 "And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged." Isaiah 27:1 "In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea." Isaiah 34:13 "And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls." Isaiah 35:7 "And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes." There are many more times dragons or the "dinosaurs" of the Bible are mentioned, and I will be telling of those in a future post. Take time to read the Bible you will find a great deal of good information about our earth, and yourself.

Balance in Natural Science

According to what I have learned about evolution, caios is the solution to bringing about order and advancement of all things. One part of the theory is that it all started with a "Big Bang." What was there before the "Big Bang?" As life evolves on the earth into different animals, this evolution continues in animals by mutations in their genetic codes over time turning them into different animals. The reason and need for these mutations is because of dramatic changes in the environment in which they live requiring them to change for survival. The eventual "extinction" of the old type of animals is the result of the "survival of the fittest." Scientific theories such as these that make up the whole of the "Theory of Evolution" are suposed to bring about a greater balance to our natural world.

Let us then explore some questions to the areas of science that have been proven over and over again. I would like for someone from the scientific community to answer these questions with as much detail as possible. What is the natural tendency of objects (living or non-living) to do over time? What would happen if just one planet in our solar system were to be thrown off balance in it's orbit, even if just by the tiniest bit? What happens to an animal or plant when it's genetic code is changed in any way? What happens to the earth if it gets hit by a meteor that knocks it just the tiniest bit closer to or further away from the sun? Ok that should be enough questions to allow for some good discussion about how evolution works or doesn't. I await your answers, so that everyone reading is able to have some food for thought.

God Is In Control

According to the Bible God created the earth, and He is still in control. He didn't just step out and let the earth and all in it evolve at it's own will.

Isaiah 45:1-25
1 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; 2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: 3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. 4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. 5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou has not known me: 6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. 7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. 8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it. 9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioned it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? 10 Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth? 11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me. 12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. 13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts. 14 Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God. 15 Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. 16 They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols. 17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. 18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. 19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. 20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save. 21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. 22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. 23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. 24 Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. 25 In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory. Isaiah 45:1-25

The Date of Things

Ok, let us get back to the world of evolutionary science. Since I was one that grew up going to public schools from kindergarden through graduation, and then I went on to a secular college, I was taught a great deal about evolution. That being said, I have some questions that I would like to ask those that support this area of science, because I would like for the answers to come from someone else besides me. That way it cannot be said that I am making up what is believed by "evolutionists." If I was to go to a museum today, and ask the tour guide what the age of a particular bone is that they have on display what are some ways that they would be able to give me the answer? If I was to go to the Grand Canyon I would see layer upon layer of rock; does each layer represent a certain number of years in earth history? If so, then what are the ways the age of each layer of rock is determined? Please explain exactly what carbon 14 dating is, and the process by which it is done. Please let us know what other ways the dating and age of our earth and other materials in it are determined. I look forward to reading the answers to these questions as this debate goes on.

Effect of Two Beliefs

I wonder what this world would have been like today if Darwin never introduced his theory of evolution. If you were to take a stroll with me through the history of America from it's beginning to it's present you may even ponder the thought as well. When America was created by God through our Godly founding fathers there was no theory of evolution, and our nations structure and foundation was built upon the Word of God. As time passed on this nation began to grow and advance at an accelerated level in science, technology, intelligence, and all other fields of interest and development. We became the leading nation in just about every way possible. Then came that theory of evolution which is just another form of humanistic religion and belief. As it slowly crept into the schools of our nation, and began to replace God and His Word in our educational foundation, we began to slow down as a nation in all of those areas. Sure, because of computers we are still able to advance by allowing them to do the fast thinking for us, but look at where we are in the world now with the graduating classes of our nations schools. Every study and statistic seems to show us rapidly decreasing in science, technology, intelligence, etc. when compared to other countries and nations in this world. The creation and Bible generations advanced our nation to where it is today, and we are only riding on their disappearing coat tails. We are now living in the era of the evolution (humanistic) generation, where kids, teens, and adults who only have to answer to their "evolved self," not a True and Living God, are killing and destroying each other like the animals public education teach they are. They have nothing to look forward to when they die, because in evolution we just live and die and that is it. Therefore, it is believed that we need to "live life to the fullest." The evolution generation lives as they wish to please themselves, and it does not matter if they hurt others in the process. The evolution generation says why should I learn math, science, or any other subject, because if all life is is living and dying then let me do all I want to do and not what you want me to do until I die. Those that believe in creation as the Bible says it, and believe in the Bible to the fullest know that their is more after the death of this old body, and we have a great deal to look forward to not only in the life we live here, but in the life here after. We have a desire to help others in any way we possibly can, therefore we know that we must learn to the best of our ability all of the math, science, etc. to help preserve life, and to help others see that there is such a thing as Absolute Truth in this world. We have a creator to answer to, and that is why others are to be loved as ourselves. That is why those that come out of schools in this nation that teach the truth about creation are so much further advanced than those that are brought up on the religion of evolution. OK, why do I keep saying evolution is a religion? Let's see what Merriam-Webster says religion is defined as: "a personal set or institutionalized (public schools) system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practice; a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor (zeal) and faith." Everything that a person follows or believes has to have a level of faith in it that keeps them doing so, and with that it becomes their religion. What is faith defined as: Merriam-Webster says it is " something that is believed especially with strong conviction." We all have a faith in something, and what ever that is is our religion. Those running this nations public schools today are making the choice to teach the religion of evolution, creation, or both. Should evolution become the finale authority in our nation our the U.S.A. will continue to decline to the level a third world country. Is creation and the Bible not only religion, but science as well? Well I only ask that you give it a fair chance. Read the Authorized King James Bible, and find all of the science that is in it, then try to prove any portion of the science found in it incorrect, inaccurate, or false. You will never be able to do so. With that being said, I believe that without evolution our nation would be far more advanced than we are today at all levels of intelligence and technology, and we would be continuing to increase just as we did in the past.

God's Word Sheds Light

If you have been reading this blog, you have already seen some Biblical accounts of the creation of the earth, this portion will expand the account from Genesis.

Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. 9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day. 14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. 20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
